The absurdity of the missing plane incident

From all the materials I have read from the internet, I think the Malaysian government should be responsible for the terrible incident. There are lots of conspiracies, which are equally likely to be the truth, yet all of these conspiracies share one thing in common: the malaysian government is to be blamed.
With reference to the French air crush of 2009, it seems very absurd to me as to why the rescuing have taken so much time, and all attempts have failed so far.

The Malaysian government's attitude in handling this horrid incident has so far received discontent from the public. I am not here to judge it as so many people have already did that, instead, i want to share some extracts from a speech made by the celebrated author Haruki Murakami.
"Between a high, solid wall and an egg that breaks against it, I will always stand on the side of the egg."
Regardless of any political reasons behind the doings of the malaysian government are simply unacceptble. Human lives are invaluable and under no circumstances should the Malaysian government refuse to reveal the truth of what really happened to MH370. For Murakami, that high wall is the system, a system that takes no consideration of human lives. For me, in this particular case, this tragedy, is the bureaucracy of the Malaysian government. I sincerely do hope the Malaysian government officials could answer to their consicence and stop beholding all the details that are yet to be revealed, so the rescuing mission could be acheived at last. And my sympathies go to all the families who have (or may have) lost their loved ones

assessment

part a:

2. It's a one-sided argumentative essay
3. 1st para. : The essay first provided a brief introduction of the essay, stating the current academic findings and developments of human engineering technologies, and then provides the author's stance of going against genetic engineering based on social and ethical reasons.

2nd paragraph: it provides the argument made by the advocates of genetic engineering,  that it does have some advantages for human beings in itself - namely to cure certain diseases.

3rd para.: it counter-argues the point made by the advocates by basing the issue on ethical and social grounds.

4th para.: it continues to make counter-arguments by expanding the basis of argument from ethical and social concerns to individual rights.

5th para: the author takes back his argument from the negative consequences of human engineering to its intrinsically deficient characteristics - human's imperfection is what makes us human.

6th para.: it is the conclusion of the whole essay, restating the points the author's been trying to make in the essay (human rights, morality, etc.)

5. The author rejected the idea of 'designer babies', saying that to do so is immoral, as it violates human rights; and create meaningless competition among human race.

4.  The first sentence is every para. is the topic sentence, which enables readers to grasp easily what point is he trying to make, follows by examples and a concluding sentence at the very end of each para .The essay also make use of cohesive devices and connectives to help readers better unerstand his essay, such as 'however'.

6. Ethical, social and individual concerns, as well as the intrinsic deficiencies of human engineering.

7. To let the readers know he has taken consideration of the other side of the argument before making his own.

8. I agree, as I have mentioned in the above, I think human imperfection is what makes us human, we should embrace all our imperfections as they make us unique from the others.

Part B:

Feng shui, according to the American professor, is a creation of the Chinese, and its origin can be traced back a long time ago to the ancient time of China. It is a system with a set of rules to follow by its adherants. Those rules are mostly about the arrangements of people's homes and workplaces and the rules are bound by the concepts of 'yin' and 'yang'. By following the set of rules will create a balance of 'yin' and 'yang' in the environment and also creates the so-called 'qi' (energy), which will bring prosperity to people and society as a whole. Actual practices of these rules are normally carried out by practitioners of feng shui in order to achieve the best effect, or what the Chinese called ' feng shui masters'. This system of Feng shui still has its charm in modern times.
